At first i was very nervous...scared of interacting ><
But after today,I was very satisfied ^^
At 12.35pm ,we set out of school to go to Jamiyah home...But we were delayed by the problem of the NDP tickets >.<
Mr.Tay asked us to go eat lunch and meet at Jamiyah home at 1.30pm+
We ate lunch(I didn`t though....)then met up at the Jamiyah home with the Junyuan Primary Students ^^(Its a combined schools project o.0)
We had a briefing before we got to work...& since we were the seniors,we had to guide the Junyuan pupils ^^
We put up the decorations ^^ Which took around an hour or so...But the words
'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' were made with streamers with the idea from Khai Wen(So smart !^^)
After that,the Junyuan Pupils performed 'Nobody' and 'You are my sunshine' for the elderly ^^(It was very cute ^^)
Then Junyuan+Springfield sang 'Happy Birthday' to the July Babies and they blew out the candles. o.0
We gave them the presents ^^
After that,It was interaction time o.0(I didn`t dare at first...But i tried my best o.0)
I sat at a table with a malay and chinese lady o.0 The malay lady coloured the picture by the games group while the chinese lady folded origami with the colour paper provided by the Junyuan students o.0
I waited as the malay lady coloured the picture of a catfish and a squirel ^^
While the chinese lady folded the origami into a t-shirt and a pair of pants ^^(Its really nice!)
After they had their games,we packed up and rested at the stage area while some 2C`s coloured the pictures for fun ^.^
I talked to Ms lim for awhile o.0 & she told me she didn`t eat lunch as after her urgent meeting,she rushed here. >.<
Then,we packed up and headed back into the briefing room. o.0
We ate some cake(Banana & Butter) provided by the Junyuan Teachers(Thanks for the cake!)
I gave a slice to Ms lim...(I scared she starve >.<)(Well...at least its true!'Kindness will turn into Courage' ^.^)
After that,we took group photos at the sign of the home then, we all headed home .^^
I had a great day today ^^ I wish i could do it again!<3
(P.S. Must say sorry to Mr Tay as he didn`t have time to help at Jamiyah home as he was settling the NDP tickets & he`s the one who organised this with Junyuan >.<)
